The Santaluna Bracelet
This piece was created for a very dear friend of mine, Ms. Santaluna. She had originally shown me a picture of a design she liked and wanted me to attempt to recreate. Upon trying it out, I decided the weave wasn't sturdy enough for her, due to her occupation, so tailored the piece using a stronger weave. This bracelet measures 8" and features bright aluminum 18g 4.7 AR and 3.2 AR rings along with black and red anodized aluminum rings in 5.4 AR and 3.4 AR. The clasp chosen was a toggle clasp for sturdiness.

First "Show"
Well, my first "craft show" was an....experience. We learned some things relating to my setup/display that need improvements - but overall, I think it went alright.
For an event not "just" a craft show - but a street fair - and being in a 'craft show' that was really a 'vendor show' - competing with home party booths, massively marketed jewelry booths, "made in china" primitives, I didn't do too awful.
I received MANY complements on my jewelry, and it's apparent this is a unique market to be in - even though, as my neighbor at the show told me "EVERYBODY tries to sell jewelry now-a-days." It's ok, she was just cranky. *chuckles*
I had great interest in my star pendants - even though I thought the earrings would be going. In addition, there was a bit of interest in folks wanting custom pieces, and my business cards were flying off the table.
One BIGGEST thing I need to remember - the hand mirror goes BEHIND the shelf next time - not out on the table. I think that got the most interest......from kids, making faces, picking noses, etc.
I am looking forward to my next show - which will be strictly devoted to actual "crafts", handmade artisans with their wares.
All in all - I'm glad for the experience, and will do the show next year, for the local support, family support, and never turning down an opportunity to display my wares and get my name out there.

Getting excited
Getting excited for the show next week.
Been chaining my fingers off.
Lots and lots of colorful stars and earrings. I decided to feature smaller/cheaper pieces at this show but as always, custom orders will be available (shipping waived if ordered at the show), and will have few of my larger pieces as well.
My momma will be with me, and the hubbers will be in and out. He'll be helping us set up - then going back home to go to bed!
Really looking forward to it!
Hope to see some of you there!

Vending Venue
I will be vending at Pedricktown Day at the Ladies Aux. Craft Show located inside the firehall.
Very much so looking forward to this local show during my favorite time of year.
As always, any GSPA members showing their membership card or FetLife members mentioning seeing/knowing me on FetLife will receive $5 off their purchase of $25 or more! This includes any custom pieces ordered (for cash payment at the show, or previous orders online scheduled for pickup at the show) by members, and in addition, shipping/processing fees are waived for in person pickups.

South Jersey Pagan Pride Day
Well, it's less than half a month away.
You'd think things would look better.
Not sure if we'll be vending for sure now or not.
May be worth it to just chalk up the entry fee than take the time to go and set up and maybe end up wasting a day.
The website isn't even updated (after contacting them about it) with more vendors. We're not listed, and I find it hard to beleive there's only four or so vendors.
I was told my email wasn't working for them - so I made sure they had the correct email, and STILL haven't heard anything back on if my email is working or not. Have yet to receive anything about the SJPPD in my email.
NEVER had a vending experience like this.
A half a month away and no contact, or "fixing" vendor information. I believe, even when we signed up we payed extra to be sure we'd be advertised, and - zilch.
Distasteful.
So - this is the event dearies - check with me soon to see if I'll actually really be there: http://www.southjerseypaganpride.org/

Moving and setting up house
I've decided to move my "business" to a blog. I haven't been totally thrilled with Artfire or Etsy. I feel a blog enables me to provide more information, provide more real time posts and such of work in progress, and connect better with others in the industry and friends and fans.
Please excuse the dust as I settle in.
